Peruzzi Winery and Its Story
There is a story behind every bottle. Ours begins in 1979, among the rolling hills of the Marche region, when Bruno and Dolores Peruzzi arrived in Ancona. They immediately fell in love with the climate, the sea that reminded Dolores of her native Dalmatia, the simple, authentic rhythm of life in the Marche. They decided to stay, finding their refuge in Monte Roberto: an old stone house abandoned for years, with fig tree branches growing out of the roof. Surrounding it were three hectares of uncultivated land, a small river flowing at the foot of the hill, and a white gravel road framed by ancient oak trees.
These hills, with a south-east exposure and clay-rich soil, lie at the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi IGT area. Recognizing the quality of this native grape variety, Bruno and Dolores decided to produce a Classic Method sparkling wine. The first release came in 1988, making it one of the most pioneering experiences in the Marche region.
In 1997, their daughter Liana returned from Veneto to dedicate herself to the family business. After her father’s passing the following year, she took on his legacy and converted the vineyards to organic farming. With love and respect for nature, she continued her parents’ work, transforming the estate into a place where biodiversity takes center stage: grass grows freely, legumes nourish the soil, and the vines largely protect themselves thanks to the richness of insects and natural organisms.
In the winnery, the philosophy remains the same: naturalness, simplicity, and authenticity. The wines are created through gentle, non-invasive processes, natural settling, low temperatures, minimal use of sulfites, and no added sugars or corrections during disgorgement.
Each bottle thus tells the story of the vintage, the grape variety, and the land from which it comes.
Now the story continues with Colette, Liana’s nience, who chose to keep the family tradition alive. Convinced that the winery’s potential had not yet been fully expressed, she invested her energy and passion to bring it to light in all its strength. In just a few years, she increased production from 5,000 to 15,000 bottles, strengthening the quality, care, and identity of Peruzzi sparkling wines, while remaining faithful to the original philosophy.

Our wines
A sincere product, without defects
which fully reflects the characteristics of the territory where it is born.
ZÉRO DOSAGE
It's still him, the sparkling wine made from Verdicchio grapes, that represents us today. No frills, like a friend who knows his place, with an exuberance that never tires.
PERUZZI ROSÉ
A sparkling wine that tastes of spring: its distinct freshness and vivacity enhance the finesse of its perlage and the harmony of its aromas. A sip that captivates with its balance and pleasantness.
PERUZZI
FROM AROMATIC GRAPES
The sparkling wine that surprises, as we like to call it, loves to play with the senses because it attracts with its aromatic notes, deceiving the idea of sweetness, only to then reveal its true nature.
The territory
The winery is located halfway up the hill between the municipalities of Monte Roberto and Maiolati Spontini, with a southeast exposure, in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi IGT region. The cool air flowing down from Cupramontana, tempered by the Adriatic Sea, caresses our vineyards, which have been planted since 1980 on calcareous clay soil interspersed with fossil marl layers. Perennial grass cover encourages self-fertilization thanks to the presence of legumes and a wide variety of wild herbs, and slows the leaching of organic matter due to rainfall.
